Zion Natioal Park

We spent the afternoon at Zion National Park. We road the bus to the top and did the 2 mile hike. At the top of the hike there is a river which we splashed around in. The boys loved climbing the huge boulders.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

For Father's Day David got the grill shown is the picture with the boys. He also got to spend a fun filled weekend camping/fishing and using the grill.

BOYS WEEKEND WITH THE WALLIS'

This weekend was all about friends, food, fishing, and FIRE. They all seemed to have a great time. There were no injuries that were reported to the mothers, which is a good sign. The fish were not biting, but that could have been because of the noisy boys. There were some catches though. Anthony, Stryder, and David now have the fishing bug and want to go again soon.

The biggest catch of the trip

Kaden got the biggest catch of them all. He caught Colby. This was his response. "Dad your shoe caught my fishing pole."

Swimming in St. George

Today we went

swimming in St. George. We loved the rock slide and diving board. It was a beautiful day. I think it reached 100 degrees. Everyone loves to show off their muscles in our family.

Family Night at the Chatwins

For the kickoff of our summer vacation, we went to visit Ryan & Diane and their family. We broke in the new volleyball/badminton net for our family night activity. And we had sugar cookies to keep us going! Can it get any better than this? Stay tuned for scenes of our upcoming adventures.

The kids had lots of fun monkeying around!

Stryder's 6th Birthday

Stryder is 6 years old today. David and I decorated his room with "Indiana Jones" things. He got a hat, a whip, spiders, snakes, chocolate treasure coins, streamers, and a happy birthday banner. He and Allyson have been singing the theme song all morning long. "Da da da DAAAA da da daaaa Da da da DAAAAA Da da da da da". You know the song so follow along. We went to see the new "Indiana Jones" movie for his birthday with our family and Debi, Jared, and Brooklynn. Then back to our house for an "Indiana Jones" cake (note the legos on top). He had a great birthday.
