Mall Fashion Show

Anthony was asked to be in a mall fashion show for back to school. There were also other kids in the neighborhood with him. He had a great time. He especially liked the props (skate board).

Swimming at the Pool

We got to go swimming at the new rec center. We went for back to school night with the Wallis family and the school staff. It was a lot of fun. Allyson had a great time on the little kid slide while the big boys went down the large water slide. The lazy river was also a lot of fun.

The Taylor Creek Trail in Kolob Canyon

We went hiking in Kolob Canyon to the Double Arch Alcove with the Whitney family. Ally got to play with Carly because the hike was a total of about 6 miles. It followed a riverbed that was almost dried. It was beautiful and not too hot. The boys made a small swimming pool off of a natural water slide. We enjoyed another beautiful day in Southern Utah.

CLAY DAY

Today we played with clay. Anthony, Stryder, and Allyson created their own animals/people. They had a great time and played with their creations for a while. When they were done they wanted to photograph their "art work".

WATER SLIDING ON A HOT SUMMER DAY

The kids had a great time water sliding with their friends at the primary party. They had fun getting wet. They also had a slip-n-slide that Anthony got really good sliding while standing. He now wants a skim board so he can get better. The temperature reached 103 degrees. Water is a great alternative on a hot summer day.

Cedar City

We went to a fair and car show in Cedar City with Ashley, Chase, Cadence, and Grandpa. We had a great time. Anthony and Stryder climbed all the way to the top of the rock wall. They both got a $5 reward from Grandpa which they later used to buy an air gun. Allyson got to play in a bounce house with a slide.

Camping with the Poulson Family

We had a great time camping. Kathy got everyone matching green shirts and we made our own messages on them. The kids had a great time with this. What a good idea. Some people liked playing horseshoes while others enjoyed sitting around and talking. We also went fishing. The reservoir was beautiful. The fish started jumping out of the water at dusk. Stryder and Allyson found a nice relaxing spot in the tall grass where they liked to watch the clouds float by.
